We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join an automated factory in Coalville, working Monday to Friday on a 10-hour day shift pattern.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for excellent earning potential, no weekends, no bank holiday working and genuine career development.

Benefits:
  • 29 days’ holiday per year, including bank holidays
  • Overtime on tap all paid at 1.5X
  • 8% pension contribution
  • No bank holiday working
  • No working over Christmas
The hours

You’ll work a rotating two-week pattern:

  • Week 1: 06:00–16:00
  • Week 2: 08:00–18:00
  • Monday to Friday
  • 10-hour shifts
The money

The basic contract rate is £17.16 per hour (40 hours) , with additional hours paid at £25.74 per hour (10 hours).

Based on the standard 40 hours plus 10 hours at the enhanced rate, earnings are approximately:

  • £1,287 per week
  • £66,924 per year

The bonus is linked to the amount of product stacked in the yard — essentially, the more product the factory produces and stacks, the bigger the bonus. The average weekly production bonus paid to maintenance staff so far this year is £137.21.
