£53,000 – £56,500 per annum, dependent on experience and skillset 
Panama days and nights
Nottingham

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to work within a fast-paced production environment, where you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of site machinery and equipment. For this role we will consider Single Skilled or Multi-Skilled applicants.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities in line with site schedules.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability and reduce recurring faults.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and engineering interventions.
  • Support continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant health, safety and engineering standards.
About You

We are looking for a proactive and technically capable Maintenance Engineer who is comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • A strong engineering background, with either/both electrical and mechanical capabilities.
  • Experience fault-finding on industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification
