Job Description:

Early Years Practitioner – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different nursery and school settings, working across Norwich and the surrounding areas.Duties as Early Years Practitioner:
  • Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals
  • Support children with personal care routines and hygiene
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and inclusive learning space
Ideal Early Years Practitioner:
  • Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education)
  • Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings
  • A warm, caring, and patient approach to supporting young children
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible and proactive attitude to working across different settings
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
