We're looking for an Employment Career Coach to join a dedicated team supporting individuals facing barriers to employment. This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with people who need encouragement, guidance and practical support to achieve their employment goals and build a brighter future.
Working from a Liverpool City Centre office, you'll deliver personalised coaching and employability support, helping individuals increase their confidence, develop new skills and move into sustainable employment. The role involves:
- Managing a varied caseload of individuals and providing tailored one-to-one support
- Conducting detailed assessments to identify aspirations, skills, barriers and support needs
- Developing personalised action plans to help individuals progress towards employment
- Setting achievable goals and regularly reviewing progress to maintain momentum
- Providing motivation, coaching and practical advice to build confidence and employability skills
- Signposting individuals to relevant training, support services and employment opportunities
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with programme requirements
- Working towards performance targets focused on positive customer outcomes
You’ll need:
- Experience supporting unemployed individuals or those facing barriers to work
- A background within employability, welfare-to-work, careers guidance, coaching, recruitment or a similar sector
- Experience managing a caseload within a target-driven environment
- Strong assessment and action-planning skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- The ability to motivate, engage and support individuals from a variety of backgrounds
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- A resilient, empathetic and positive approach with a genuine passion for helping people succeed
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
