Business Development Manager - Signage

Up to circa £55,000 Bonus Car Allowance

I’m recruiting for an experienced Signage Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing marketing and graphics business based in Lancashire.

This is very much a new business sales role. We’re looking for someone who knows the signage industry, knows how to open doors and genuinely enjoys the buzz of winning new customers and bringing revenue into a business.

You’ll be joining a friendly, relaxed and down-to-earth team with ambitious growth plans. There are no big egos – just a hardworking business with a great reputation, strong capabilities and the appetite to grow.

The Role

Your primary focus will be generating and winning new business across the signage and graphics market.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Identifying prospective customers, making initial contact and developing opportunities from first conversation through to quote, presentation and close.
• You’ll build the relationship and identify further opportunities to grow the spend.
• Prospecting and qualifying leads via telephone, networking, face-to-face client meetings and developing your own pipeline.

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to inherit and manage a portfolio – you need to enjoy hunting for business.

What We're Looking For

• You'll already have experience selling within the signage industry and a proven track record of developing new business.
• You’ll be a confident communicator and negotiator who is comfortable approaching new customers, presenting solutions and asking for the business. You’ll need to be self-motivated, commercially aware and able to manage your own sales pipeline.
• Most importantly, you’ll have the drive and hunger to win new accounts and build your own customer base.

A full UK driving licence is required.
