At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK. 

Our client is looking for a Multi Skilled Plasterer to join their Repairs team working on a social housing contract in Trafford, Manchester and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be working on a Social Housing contract in planned and reactive maintenance on void properties for an initial 3 month contract.

The successful candidate will be experienced in patch repairs, larger plastering repairs, plaster boarding, bonding, rendering, finishing and tiling.

Pay rate - £23.97PH (Umbrella)
The role comes with a company van and fuel card.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Carry out a wide range of plastering repairs and maintenance works within occupied homes.
  • Complete painting, decorating and other associated repairs to a high standard.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach when working in residents' homes.
  • Undertake plaster boarding, bonding, rendering, finishing, tiling and patch repair work.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met before leaving site.
  • Work independently and manage jobs effectively using a PDA device.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety at all times.
  • Support a right first-time culture, reducing repeat visits and enhancing customer satisfaction.


Skills / Qualifications needed for the plasterer position:

- NVQ level 2 in Plastering
- UK driving license
- Experience working on social housing contracts
- Valid skilled CSCS card
