Trainee Contracts Supervisor – Social Housing maintenance.

Location: South Devon
Salary: 28-30k
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Must have a full driving licence.

Build Recruitment are looking for a Trainee Contracts Supervisor to support an experienced Contracts Manager with void and planned works.

This is a great opportunity for someone with trade experience or a background in social housing repairs who is looking to progress into contract supervision.

Key Duties
  • Carry out property surveys and inspections.
  • Complete quality checks and snagging.
  • Support works sign-off.
  • Coordinate appointments with residents, contractors and surveyors.
  • Take photographs and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with residents and contractors.
  • Report any issues, defects or delays.
  • Support the Contracts Manager with day-to-day duties.
About You
  • Trade background or experience in social housing/repairs preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Comfortable using a phone/tablet for reporting.
  • Confident dealing with residents.
  • Keen to learn and progress.
  • Able to follow established processes and systems.
  • Willing to complete a DBS check.
