I’m working exclusively with a fantastic independent print and visual branding business in the North of England who are looking to bring an experienced sales professional into their team.

This is a business with a real family feel to it. The owner is incredibly hands-on, down-to-earth and still very much involved in the day-to-day running of the company. Staff retention is excellent, with many members of the team having been with the business for a significant amount of time.

They've grown steadily, own their premises and have built the business on strong client relationships, quality and service.

Now they're looking ahead to the next stage.

They want an experienced salesperson who can help open new doors, develop new markets and bring additional sizeable accounts into the business.

Projects can be managed from initial consultation and creative concept through production, distribution and nationwide installation, giving you a genuinely broad solution to take to prospective clients.

Retail is already a major market for the business, but there are plenty of other avenues to explore where the company's combination of creative, print, signage, POS and installation capabilities can add value.

What I'm Looking For

I'm looking for someone who knows how to sell print, graphics, signage or retail display solutions and, importantly, already understands the market.

You'll ideally bring experience across large format, retail POS, signage, visual branding or a closely related print environment, along with the confidence to approach significant brands and develop relationships at senior level.

This isn't about hammering the phones and chasing low-value transactional print.

They want someone who can identify the right opportunities, understand what a customer is trying to achieve and use the company's in-house capabilities to put together a solution. Their existing retail work spans everything from large-format and window graphics to POS, standees, lightboxes and complete campaign rollouts, so there is plenty of scope to cross-sell and grow accounts.
