Planned Works Planner – Social Housing

? Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
? Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
? Rate: £17.84 per hour (Umbrella)
? Working Arrangement: Office-based

We are currently looking for an experienced Planner to join the Planned Works team within a leading social housing organisation based in Leatherhead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in social housing, planned maintenance, repairs or property services who is confident coordinating operatives, contractors and workloads to ensure planned works are delivered efficiently.

The Role

As a Planned Works Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling planned maintenance works across residential properties. You will work closely with operatives, contractors, tenants and internal teams to ensure jobs are booked, tracked and completed within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and coordinating planned maintenance works
  • Allocating jobs to operatives and contractors
  • Managing diaries, workloads and appointments
  • Liaising with tenants and residents to arrange access
  • Coordinating access requirements and resolving appointment issues
  • Monitoring outstanding works and following up on delays
  • Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with supervisors, surveyors and other members of the Planned Works team
  • Responding to queries from tenants, operatives and contractors
  • Monitoring job progress and ensuring works are completed within target timescales
  • Raising and updating work orders
  • Dealing with cancellations, missed appointments and rescheduling
  • Providing regular updates to relevant teams
  • Ensuring records are accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the Planned Works team with general administration and coordination
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working in planning, scheduling or coordination
  • Ideally has experience within social housing, repairs, maintenance or property services
  • Is confident dealing with multiple workloads and priorities
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
