Are you a confident people person who enjoys building relationships and making a genuine difference to customers?
We’re looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a busy team delivering housing and property improvement works. This is a key role acting as the link between residents, site teams, clients and contractors, making sure residents are kept informed, supported and looked after throughout the works.
The RoleAs a Resident Liaison Officer, you’ll take ownership of the resident journey before, during and after works are carried out in their homes.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Building strong and effective relationships with residents, clients, subcontractors, site teams, local stakeholders and the wider community.
Acting as the key point of contact for residents throughout the works, ensuring they understand what is happening and when.
Carrying out resident inductions, explaining the works, processes and what residents can expect throughout the project.
Managing consultations, choice events and individual resident meetings ahead of works commencing.
Working closely with site management and customer care teams to resolve issues and ensure residents receive the right level of support.
Keeping residents informed of progress, changes and any relevant updates throughout the project.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally approachable, organised and confident dealing with people.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in a resident/customer liaison role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The confidence to deal with challenging conversations and resolve issues professionally.
Experience working alongside site teams, contractors or subcontractors.
Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider project team.
