KS4 General Science Teacher

Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity  Starting January 2026

Duties as KS4 General Science Teacher:
  • Teach General Science across Key Stage 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Differentiate learning to meet varying abilities and learning styles
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support students in developing scientific knowledge and practical skills
Ideal KS4 General Science Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Experience preparing students for GCSE Science examinations
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
