Join a boutique design and build studio specialising in high-end residential interiors. As Site Engineer, you'll be the on-site lead ensuring every fit-out is delivered to the exacting standard our designs demand — from first fix through to final handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction and fit-out activities
• Enforce quality standards, ensuring flawless craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Coordinate daily site schedules, track progress, and produce clear progress reports
• Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly to keep projects moving
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager and Design Team to ensure design intent is executed accurately
• Supervise subcontractors, run inspections, and control materials on site
• Prepare RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, method statements, snagging lists, variations, and as-built documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
• 6–8 years' total experience, including 2–3 years in interior fit-out
• Minimum 2 completed medium-scale fit-out projects
• Strong technical knowledge of finishes, ceilings, partitions, flooring, joinery, and MEP coordination
• Confident reading and coordinating architectural, ID, structural, and MEP drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Project/Primavera a plus
• Strong leadership and team management ability
• Comfortable running inspections and closing out technical comments
• Working knowledge of local authority and Civil Defence requirements where relevant
