Duties as Religious Education Teacher:

• Teach Religious Education to Year 10 and Year 11 students
• Plan and deliver engaging GCSE-level lessons
• Encourage discussion, analysis, and critical thinking
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department

Ideal Religious Education Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
• Experience teaching or preparing students for GCSE examinations
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Passion for inspiring and motivating young people
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
