Here is a highly regarded early years provision offering a stimulating and child-centred learning environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. The setting is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, creativity, and confidence through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

In its most recent Ofsted inspection, the setting was judged Good, reflecting the quality of care, teaching, and learning opportunities available to children.

Duties as a Forest School Practitioner:

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress
• Promote children's personal, social, and emotional development
• Support daily routines, including mealtimes and outdoor activities
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times

 

Ideal Forest School Practitioner:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) desirable
• Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Passion for supporting young children's learning and development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
