Duties as a Nursery Room Lead:- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the nursery room
- Deliver high-quality learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework
- Support and mentor Early Years Practitioners and support staff
- Plan engaging activities that meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor, assess, and record children's progress
- Create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Level 3 Childcare/Education Diploma Qualification or equivalent
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Evidence of EYFS qualifications or training (Level 3-5 Diploma)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Sound understanding of how to use and adapt a range of teaching styles within Early Years education
- Proven ability to personalise learning and provide opportunities for all children to achieve their potential
- Experience leading or supporting within an Early Years setting
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
