KS2 Teacher

Part-Time Thursdays & Fridays  October Start Long-Term Placement Until  December 2026

Duties as KS2 Teacher:
  • Teach a Key Stage 2 class on Thursdays and Fridays
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the wider school community
  • Participate in parents' evenings and school events
  • Undertake lunchtime duty and other professional responsibilities as required
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and participation
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to fully embracing the responsibilities of a class teacher
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
