Receptionist

Full-Time ASAP Start 8:15am – 4:00pm At Least Until Christmas

Duties as a Receptionist:
  • Greeting and assisting visitors, parents, students, and external professionals
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Maintaining visitor sign-in procedures and safeguarding protocols
  • Handling confidential information in line with GDPR requirements
  • Responding to emails and general correspondence
  • Supporting the wider administration team with day-to-day office duties
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
Ideal Receptionist:
  • Previous receptionist or administration experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and confidentiality requirements
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
  • Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
