We’re currently supporting a well-established engineering business with the appointment of an experienced Quality Inspector / FAIR Inspector.

They’re looking for an experienced Quality Inspector / FAIR Inspector to join their team and play a key role in ensuring high-precision components meet demanding customer and design standards.

• Work within the aerospace industry

• Inspect high-precision components

• Use GD&T and advanced metrology

• Gain or expand FAIR experience

• Work alongside experienced Engineering and Quality teams

• Develop your technical skills and career

Your day-to-day will include:

• Carrying out in-process and final inspections

• Completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)

• Reading engineering drawings and specifications

• Using precision measuring equipment

• Reviewing supplier FAIRs

• Raising NCRs and supporting quality investigations

• Supporting customer returns and quality issues

• Working closely with Production and Engineering to resolve problems

You’ll ideally have:

• 3 years’ experience in Quality Inspection or Precision Engineering

• Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills

• Dimensional inspection / metrology experience

• Experience with FAIRs

• Aerospace experience is a big plus

• A proactive, hands-on approach to quality
