English & Media Studies Teacher

As an English & Media Studies Teacher, you will:

• Teach KS4 English Language and Literature
• Deliver GCSE Media Studies
• Teach Level 3 Media Studies to Key Stage 5 students
• Deliver GCSE English resit classes within the sixth form
• Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with departmental expectations
• Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes
• Foster excellent engagement, literacy, analytical, and communication skills

Ideal English and Media Studies Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialist knowledge of English and Media Studies
• Experience teaching GCSE English
• Experience teaching GCSE and/or Level 3 Media Studies
• Ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages 4 and 5
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
