Project Manager – Isles of Scilly

Location: St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly
Project: Carn Thomas Housing Development
Rotation: 12 days on / 2 days off
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major housing development on St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly.

The project involves the construction of 27 new social housing dwellings, alongside significant civil and infrastructure works on a steeply sloping site.

The works include:

• 27 new residential dwellings

• Significant earthworks

• Retaining structures

• Drainage and utilities

• Roads and infrastructure

• External works

• Civil and structural construction

As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, managing programme, resources, subcontractors and project performance from start to completion.

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction

• Strong civil and structural construction experience

• Experience delivering major residential or construction projects

• Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, infrastructure and retaining structures

• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

• Strong programme and project management skills

• Excellent health & safety awareness

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Relevant construction qualifications

Experience working on remote or logistically challenging projects would be highly advantageous.

Due to the location, candidates must be comfortable working away from home on a 12 days on / 2 days off rotation.
