Site Manager – Isles of Scilly

Location: St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly
Project: Carn Thomas Housing Development
Rotation: 12 days on / 2 days off
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major housing development on St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly.

The project involves the construction of 27 new social housing dwellings, alongside extensive civil and infrastructure works on a steeply sloping site.

The works include:

• 27 new residential dwellings

• Earthworks and groundworks

• Retaining structures

• Drainage and utilities

• Roads and infrastructure

• External works

• Civil and structural construction

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction

• Strong civil and structural construction experience

• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors

• Knowledge of earthworks, drainage, infrastructure and retaining structures

• Strong understanding of construction health & safety

• Ability to manage site activities and keep works on programme

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications

Experience working on remote or logistically challenging projects would be highly advantageous.

Due to the location, candidates must be comfortable working away from home on a 12 days on / 2 days off rotation.
