We’re currently recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a roofing contractor delivering works across residential properties in the Hemel Hempstead area.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, initially paying £20 per hour, with the view to move permanently onto a £33,000 salary.

The RLO will be the key link between residents, the contractor and site teams, ensuring residents are kept informed and supported throughout the roofing works.

• Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the works

• Carry out resident introductions and explain the planned works clearly

• Provide regular updates on programmes, access and any changes

• Arrange access to properties and coordinate appointments where required

• Deal with resident queries, concerns and complaints professionally

• Carry out resident visits and maintain accurate records

• Liaise closely with Site Managers and operational teams

• Identify and escalate issues that could affect the programme

• Support vulnerable residents and ensure their needs are communicated to the site team

• Assist with handovers and resident satisfaction

• Maintain accurate communication and visit records

• Previous experience as an RLO / Resident Liaison Officer

• Experience within social housing, roofing, planned works, refurbishment or maintenance would be advantageous

• Confident communicating with residents and site teams

• Strong organisational and administration skills

• Professional and approachable manner

• Comfortable working on site and visiting residents

• Full UK driving licence would be advantageous

• £20 per hour initially
