Account Manager – Bespoke Exhibitions & Printed POS

Location: Surrey
Office based preferred Hybrid considered for the right person
Salary DOE, Up to Circa £45,000

I’m recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join an established and highly creative production business in Surrey, working with some fantastic brands across bespoke exhibitions, retail environments and printed POS.

This is very much a role for someone who understands the world of bespoke production, taking a creative client brief, understanding what is actually achievable, and working with internal teams to turn an idea into a beautifully executed finished project.

The role

You’ll take ownership of client accounts and projects from initial brief through to final delivery and installation, acting as the link between the client and the internal creative, production and project teams.

Day to day, you’ll be:

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Taking detailed briefs for bespoke exhibition, retail and POS projects
• Managing projects from initial concept and quotation through to production, installation and completion
• Working closely with studio, creative, production and installation teams
• Producing and managing quotations, budgets and project costs
• Managing multiple projects, deadlines and changing client requirements
• Overseeing the production of printed POS and bespoke display solutions
• Coordinating exhibition and retail installation projects
• Attending client meetings and project/site meetings where required
• Keeping clients informed throughout the entire process
• Managing expectations and confidently pushing back when necessary
• Identifying opportunities to develop and grow existing accounts

What I'm looking for

For this one, relevant industry experience is essential.

You must have a solid background working within bespoke exhibitions AND printed POS, with a strong understanding of how these projects are produced and delivered.

You’ll ideally already be working as an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager or experienced Project Manager within a creative production, exhibitions, retail display or POS business.

Experience looking after clients within the luxury retail / luxury brands space would be highly advantageous. These clients expect exceptional attention to detail, quality and service, so experience operating at that level would be a real plus.

You'll need to be:

• Commercially aware and confident managing budgets and quotations
• Technically knowledgeable enough to discuss briefs with both clients and production teams
• Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple live projects
• Confident dealing with demanding clients and tight deadlines
• Detail-focused, particularly when working with premium brands
• Personable, proactive and genuinely client focused
• Happy working collaboratively with creative and production teams

Location & hybrid working

The business is based in Surrey, and the preference is for someone who can be predominantly office based.

This is a hands-on, collaborative environment and there is real value in being on site, close to the creative and production teams and seeing projects come to life.

That said, hybrid working will be considered for the right person, depending on their experience, attitude and ability to successfully manage their clients and workload.
