An established and growing architectural metalwork company is looking to recruit an experienced Metal Polisher to join their busy workshop in Dunstable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Metal Polisher who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes on stainless steel products that are installed in commercial, architectural and high-end customer-facing environments.

As a Metal Polisher, you will be responsible for preparing, finishing and polishing stainless steel components to a consistent brushed finish, ensuring all work meets the highest standards before installation.

As a Metal Polisher, your duties will include:

• Polishing stainless steel components to a high-quality brushed finish
• Preparing fabricated metalwork ready for finishing and installation
• Removing imperfections, marks and weld blemishes
• Using linishers, grinders and other finishing tools effectively
• Producing consistent finishes on visible architectural products
• Working closely with the fabrication team to achieve excellent quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

The successful Metal Polisher will ideally have:

• Previous experience polishing stainless steel
• Experience achieving brushed or satin finishes
• Ability to work on customer-facing products where finish quality is critical
• Experience using linishers, abrasive belts, grinders and finishing equipment
• A keen eye for detail and pride in workmanship
• Experience within architectural metalwork, fabrication or high-end manufacturing environments

Experience working on products such as:

• Handrails
• Balustrades
• Staircases
• Architectural metalwork
• Stainless steel fabrications
• Bespoke metal components
