Start Date: 12th October
Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract (likely to be extended)
Hours: 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday
Payment Options: PAYE or Umbrella

We are currently recruiting for 2 Maintenance Engineers to join a busy industrial operation in Flixborough. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a strong electrical bias, heavy machinery experience, and proven PLC fault-finding capabilities.

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 08:00 - 16:00
• 13:00 - 21:00

• On-call required once every 3 weeks
• The engineer working the late shift will cover call-outs
• £50 payment for holding the on-call phone
• Minimum 3 hours paid if called out
• Call-outs may occur Monday to Friday, with cover extending into Saturday

• Planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial machinery
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics across production equipment
• Working with PLC controls, relays, sensors and automation systems
• Diagnosing and repairing PLC input and output faults
• Mechanical and hydraulic maintenance activities
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and reducing downtime
• Carrying out preventative maintenance schedules
• Working alongside an existing engineer during the handover process

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Strong electrical maintenance background

Experience maintaining and fault-finding on heavy machinery and industrial plant equipment

Proven experience with:

• PLCs
• PLC Inputs & Outputs
• Control Panels
• Relays
• Electrical Controls
• Fault Finding & Diagnostics

Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience

Ability to work independently and within a team

• Immediate start available
