Duties as Year 4 Teacher:

• Teach a Year 4 class on:
  • Wednesday afternoon
  • Thursday
  • Friday
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and track pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Lead a curriculum subject area across the school
• Utilise allocated release time to fulfil subject leadership responsibilities
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil wellbeing

Ideal Year 4 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
• Interest in curriculum development and subject leadership
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
