We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder to join an established engineering business on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the fabrication, fitting and welding of stainless-steel pipework and associated assemblies.

Key responsibilities:

• Stainless-steel manual and orbital TIG welding

• Pipe fitting, fabrication and assembly

• Working from fabrication and process drawings

• Fabricating stainless-steel frameworks and brackets

• Cutting, grinding and drilling stainless-steel components

• Completing weld logs and quality documentation

• Assembly of pipework, valves, pumps and associated components

• Supporting onsite installation and maintenance when required

• Working safely and maintaining high-quality standards

• Previous experience in pipe fitting and/or TIG welding

• Stainless-steel welding experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical/fabrication drawings

• Competent with hand and powered tools

• TIG welding certification is desirable but not essential

• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering £22–£27 per hour, depending on experience.
