Job Description:
We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business looking to add a Supply Chain Administrator to their team. This Supply Chain Administrator role offers the opportunity to join a company known for its innovative products and commitment to quality.
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you’ll be joining a collaborative team environment where accurate communication, strong organisation and continuous improvement are highly valued.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring open purchase orders and obtaining supplier acknowledgements within agreed timescales
- Validating quantities, prices, part numbers and delivery dates against purchase orders, resolving discrepancies promptly
- Updating ERP systems with confirmed delivery dates and maintaining accurate order records
- Producing and maintaining acknowledgement, overdue order and shortage reports
- Prioritising shortages based on production, customer and operational impact
- Communicating delivery risks and recovery actions with Planning, Production and Logistics teams
- Supporting expediting activities, order amendments, cancellations and goods receipt queries

Key Requirements
To be considered for this Supply Chain Administrator role, you will need:
- Previous experience within supply chain, purchasing, planning, logistics or order administration
- Experience managing purchase orders, supplier acknowledgements, expediting activities or shortages
- Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Effective organisation, prioritisation and communication skills
