Working Hours - 9am - 5:30pm
Are you an experienced CMM Programmer looking to work with cutting-edge manufacturing technology? Do you have strong PC-DMIS or MODUS programming experience and a passion for precision engineering?
Our client, Alloyed, is a rapidly growing technology company at the forefront of advanced metal manufacturing. Combining additive manufacturing, materials science, machine learning and engineering expertise, they develop high-performance components for industries including aerospace, electronics and industrial engineering.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join their Metrology team in Abingdon.
The RoleAs a CMM Programmer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of complex engineered components. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations teams, you will develop and optimise CMM inspection programmes while supporting new product development and production activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and operate CMM inspection programmes using PC-DMIS and/or MODUS
- Create efficient and accurate inspection routines for complex components
- Programme and operate Hexagon CMMs and/or Renishaw Agility systems
- Review engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
- Support continuous improvement projects within metrology and quality processes
- Maintain accurate inspection records and traceability documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS and/or MODUS
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
- Experience within a high-precision manufacturing or engineering environment
- Excellent knowledge of metrology principles and inspection techniques
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- £50,000 - £55,000 salary
