Job Description:

Supply Chain Administrator

Milton Keynes
£30,000 – £32,000 DOE
Permanent Full Time

We’re recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator to join a well-established international business supplying specialist equipment and technology to customers across the UK.

This is a busy, varied role sitting at the heart of the company’s UK operation. You’ll be involved across customer orders, purchasing, stock, suppliers, and deliveries, making sure orders move smoothly from initial enquiry through to fulfilment.

It’s a great opportunity for someone from a sales administration, order processing, supply chain, logistics or customer-focused administration background who enjoys having plenty to get stuck into.

What you’ll be doing

  • Processing and managing customer orders from entry through to delivery
  • Responding to order, stock, and delivery enquiries
  • Keeping customers updated on availability, lead times, and order progress
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Chasing outstanding orders and supplier confirmations
  • Coordinating with purchasing, warehouse, logistics and sales teams
  • Monitoring stock availability, shortages, and incoming deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate order, inventory, and shipment information
  • Supporting stock reconciliations and general supply chain administration
  • Producing reports covering orders, fulfilment, and supplier performance
  • Helping identify ways to improve processes and make the order journey more efficient

What we’re looking for

You don’t necessarily need previous experience in the same role. We’d be interested in speaking with people from supply chain administration, order processing, purchasing, logistics coordination or similar backgrounds.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills
  • Experience processing orders or working with stock, deliveries, or suppliers
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience using an ERP, CRM or order management system
  • A proactive approach and willingness to chase things through to completion

Experience within a business supplying physical products, equipment or parts would be particularly useful.

The company

You’ll be joining a highly established international organisation with a long-standing reputation in its market.

The business designs and supplies specialist technology and equipment used by customers across the UK and internationally, offering the security and resources of a global organisation alongside a close-knit UK operation.

For someone looking to develop their experience across supply chain, purchasing, order management and commercial operations, there’s plenty of scope to broaden your knowledge and become an important part of the team.
