This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and organised individual who enjoys working with children and is looking for a role that offers the potential to become permanent after half term for the right candidate.
The RoleAs the After School Club Manager, you will take responsibility for leading and supervising the school's after school provision, ensuring children have access to a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment at the end of the school day.
You will work closely with school staff, parents and carers while leading activities that support children's social, emotional and personal development.
Key Responsibilities- Leading the daily operation of the after school club.
- Supervising and engaging groups of primary-aged children.
- Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Ensuring the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all children.
- Managing registers and adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
- Supporting school policies and maintaining high standards of behaviour.
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare or club setting.
- Confidence leading activities and managing groups of children.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Relevant childcare, teaching assistant or playwork qualifications are desirable but not essential.
