We are recruiting for a Panel Builder to join an established engineering and automation business in Nuneaton.

This is a hands-on workshop role building and wiring electrical control panels from schematics and engineering drawings.

• Previous Panel Builder / Panel Wiring experience
• Confident reading electrical schematics
• Experience with electrical assembly and cable termination
• Good practical skills with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Relevant qualification, apprenticeship or industry experience
• ECS Gold Card desirable
• PLC/automation experience advantageous

As a Panel Builder, you will:

• Build and wire electrical control panels
• Work from schematics and engineering drawings
• Install PLCs, relays, contactors, VFDs and terminal blocks
• Prepare enclosures by cutting, drilling and punching
• Route and terminate cables
• Carry out crimping and ferruling
• Label cables and components
• Complete job documentation
• Work alongside engineers
• Maintain high quality and safety standards

• £15.50 per hour
• £32,240 annual salary
• Overtime at time & a half
