Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to play a key role in maintaining and improving health, safety and environmental standards across their operations.

Key Responsibilities
- The HSE Advisor will manage and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental risk assessments across the business.
- Ensure compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Support and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Conduct internal audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Analyse HSE data, identify trends, and produce performance reports.
- The HSE Advisor will support facility and asset management activities to ensure ongoing compliance and suitability.
- Assist in the administration and control of information systems, ensuring GDPR and cyber security compliance.
- Work closely with management and operational teams to drive a positive HSE culture.
Requirements
- NEBOSH National or International Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum requirement).
- The HSE Advisor will need a strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Excellent understanding of UK Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
- Experience conducting internal audits and supporting management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Degree-level education or equivalent industry experience preferred.
Desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
- Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments.
