I’m currently recruiting for a Test Technician to join an established engineering and manufacturing business.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in electro-mechanical testing, fault finding and quality inspection.

The Role for a Test Technician

• Test and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Carry out functional and performance testing.
• Set up and operate electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Identify faults and support troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Record test results and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support engineering teams with product testing and validation.
• Contribute to quality and continuous improvement activities.

About You as a Test Technician

• 2 years’ experience in a Test Technician or similar role.
• Experience using electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Able to read technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset.
