We are currently working with a secondary school located in the borough of Sutton who are looking for a Mathematics Teacher to join their school on a full-time basis Asap.

The Role

In this role you will be teaching Mathematics KS3-KS5 with a specific requirement to teach A-level. The role is on a full-time ongoing basis to interview asap.

The school are looking for a teacher with the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Relevant degree
• Is an Outstanding classroom practitioner or driven to be so
• Can teach A-level Mathematics
• A proactive and engaging teaching approach
• Understanding of the requirements for high quality teaching
• Ability to use ICT effectively
• Ability to fulfil the requirements of a Form Tutor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels
• Excellent administration skills and the ability to meet deadlines

The school is a highly over-subscribed 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive secondary school situated in Sutton, South West London. The school are proud of their strong local reputation. In October 2024 the hard work of the school’s students and staff was recognised by Ofsted. The inspection team described the school as offering "an exceptional standard of education", using the words "flourishing, "inclusive" and "friendly". In the report Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, Sixth Form and Leadership & Management were all graded as Outstanding. The school have a very diverse population of students, offering a comprehensive range of opportunities for colleagues who work there. Students - of all groups - have done incredibly well over the last few years, with their GCSE achievement always being at least in the top 20% of the country, and over 60 Sixth Form students attending Russell Group universities each year.
