Guillotine Operator – Digital Print Finishing (night shifts)

A well-established and growing digital print business is looking to recruit an experienced Guillotine Operator to join its production team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with print finishing experience to join a fast-paced environment producing high-quality digital print products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Polar and Wohlenberg guillotines, ensuring all finished products meet strict quality standards while working efficiently to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating Polar and Wohlenberg guillotines
• Finishing high-quality digital print products accurately and efficiently
• Carrying out routine machine maintenance and upkeep
• Performing quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Organising completed work ready for packing and dispatch
• Working closely with production and account management teams to meet deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Supporting other departments when required

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience operating Polar, Wohlenberg, or similar guillotines
• Background within print finishing, digital print, or manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment
• Positive attitude with a flexible and reliable approach to work
