Packaging Artworker / Retoucher

Location: Manchester
Salary: Circa £35,000 DOE (some flexibility for the right candidate)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We're recruiting for an experienced Packaging Artworker / Retoucher to join a busy, established artwork and production team in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in packaging artwork, reprographics, and image retouching, who enjoys producing technically accurate, high-quality artwork for print.

You'll be working on a variety of packaging projects, taking artwork from initial concepts and amendments through to final, print-ready files.

The Role

• Creating, adapting, and amending packaging artwork across various formats.
• Carrying out high-quality image retouching, colour correction, and image manipulation.
• Preparing accurate, print-ready artwork in line with production specifications.
• Working with cutter guides, layouts, colour separations, and print requirements.
• Checking artwork for accuracy, consistency, and technical suitability.
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve artwork and production queries.
• Managing multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

About You

Previous packaging artworking experience is essential, and strong image retouching skills are highly desirable.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in a packaging artwork, reprographics, or print production environment.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Proven image retouching, manipulation, and colour correction experience.
• A good understanding of packaging print processes and technical artwork preparation.
• Experience working with cutter guides, print specifications and production-ready files.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Knowledge of reprographics processes would be advantageous.

Please note: This is a fully site-based position in Manchester, five days per week. Hybrid or remote working is not available.
