We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Foot Mobile Engineer to join our facilities management team, covering commercial properties throughout the Soho area of London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a varied environment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and general building maintenance across multiple sites.

Working on a foot-mobile basis, you will travel between properties within your designated area, ensuring buildings and facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a portfolio of commercial properties.

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently.

• Undertake general building maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical and fabric maintenance tasks within your competency.

• Diagnose faults and identify suitable solutions to minimise disruption.

• Carry out routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements and relevant regulations.

• Complete job sheets, maintenance records and compliance documentation accurately.

• Manage daily workloads effectively while travelling between sites on foot.

• Liaise professionally with clients, building users and other members of the facilities management team.

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service across all properties.

• Previous experience in a maintenance engineering or building maintenance role.

• A multi-skilled background, with experience in general building maintenance and repairs.

• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

• A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple locations.

• A professional and customer-focused approach.

• Comfortable working in a foot-mobile role, travelling between sites throughout Soho.
