Turn Your Passion for Cars into a Career
For some people, a car is simply a car. For you, it’s about the craftsmanship, the finish and the finer details that make something truly special.
We’re looking for a Classic Car Detailer to join a growing British automotive business creating exceptional, precision-engineered recreations of some of the world’s most iconic classic cars.
This is an opportunity to work with extraordinary vehicles in a unique automotive environment, where quality is paramount and every detail matters. If you take pride in your work, have a keen eye for perfection and want to be part of a passionate team, this could be the role for you.
What Will You Be Doing?
You’ll play a key role in ensuring every vehicle is finished to an exceptional standard before being delivered to its new owner. Combining hands-on detailing with quality control and coordination, you’ll help bring each vehicle across the finish line.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perfecting the finish: Detailing and preparing vehicles for delivery, ensuring every car meets exacting presentation standards.
- Maintaining quality: Inspecting painted components and finished parts, identifying imperfections and working with suppliers to resolve any issues.
- Working with paint specialists: Coordinating paint requirements, colours, liveries and finishing details to ensure everything is delivered to specification.
- Keeping production on track: Managing paint kits, supplier deliveries and progress updates to support production schedules.
- Preparing for delivery: Coordinating dispatch activities, organising protective crating and shipping materials, and completing the necessary paperwork.
- Getting involved: Supporting production builds, installations and occasional automotive events when required.
No two days will necessarily be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and thrives in a hands-on environment.
What Are We Looking For?
Above all, we’re looking for someone who cares about the quality of their work and understands the difference that attention to detail can make.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in vehicle detailing, automotive finishing or a similar hands-on environment.
- A genuine passion for cars and an appreciation for exceptional craftsmanship.
- A meticulous approach to quality, presentation and finishing.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude, with the confidence to work independently and take responsibility.
- A full UK driving licence or transportation, which would be advantageous.
Experience with classic, prestige or luxury vehicles would be beneficial, but we’re equally interested in people with the right practical skills, enthusiasm and commitment to doing things properly.
Interested?
If you love cars, take pride in a flawless finish and want to work somewhere your attention to detail genuinely matters, we’d love to hear from you.
