We are seeking a Senior Architect who is unapologetically design-led: a creative thinker with architectural flair, intellectual rigour, and the confidence to propose courageous, original ideas. This is a role for someone who leads with concept, shapes powerful spatial narratives, and brings a distinct architectural voice to every project.

You will sit at the heart of the design studio, driving projects from first idea through to built reality. You will be trusted to set creative direction, challenge convention, and mentor a team that shares your appetite for design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural concept and design direction for ultra-luxury private residences from inception.
• Generate bold, intelligent architectural responses rooted in site, climate, context, and client narrative.
• Develop strong massing strategies, façade concepts, volumetric studies, and spatial sequences that demonstrate clarity and authorship.
• Drive architectural storytelling - translating ideas into compelling visuals, models, and presentations.
• Produce and oversee concept and developed design packages, ensuring the original architectural vision is protected throughout.
• Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants to integrate technical requirements without diluting design intent.
• Mentor and inspire junior team members, fostering a culture of high creative standards.
• Present design concepts confidently to private clients, articulating ideas with clarity and conviction.
• Work collaboratively with the interior design team to ensure seamless architectural cohesion where required.

Requirements

• 8 years’ experience in high-end residential architecture, ideally ultra-luxury private villas.
• Professional qualification in Architecture.
• A strong, concept-driven portfolio demonstrating clear architectural authorship and originality.
• Exceptional creative ability - confident in proposing bold ideas while maintaining refinement.
• Advanced spatial planning skills with a sophisticated understanding of scale, proportion, light, and materiality.
• Excellent 3D modelling capability (SketchUp essential), with strong visual communication skills.
• Natural design leader with the ability to elevate studio standards.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong design judgement.
• Interior design experience is advantageous, but this role is fundamentally architectural in its focus.
