The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a growing technology business in Brisbane to find a talented Software Developer to join its expanding engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys building scalable applications, solving complex technical challenges and contributing to products that make a real difference to customers. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and product stakeholders to design, develop and deliver modern software solutions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, improve existing systems and contribute to the ongoing development of new digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable software applications.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop backend services, APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability and security.
• Contribute to technical planning and architectural discussions.

Skills & Experience

• 7 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with a modern framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Backend development experience using Node.js, Python, C# or a similar language.
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases and software integration.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.
