RECfinancial have been engaged on an exclusive basis with an established Leicester based business in the appointment of a newly created Finance Manager.

This role is based at an impressive office which is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Market Harborough, Coventry and surrounding areas. 

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, overseeing a small team.

The role requires a confident and commercially minded individual, with the ability to build relationships across the business and provide meaningful financial insight to support strategic decision-making.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, scenario planning, stock reporting and costing analysis, financial modelling, overseeing payment runs and improving financial reporting.

There will also be a strong element of finance business partnering, working closely with senior stakeholders and the IT function to improve processes, continue to develop existing Power BI reporting and strengthen financial controls.

The ideal candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA), likely operating as a Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant or similar. Experience working with stock and inventory would be particularly advantageous, alongside strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.
