Class Act Teaching Services has supported schools and education professionals for 25 years. We’re looking for a Team Leader to lead our Abingdon branch while a colleague is on maternity leave.

You’ll help schools find the people they need, support your team to deliver a brilliant service and look for fresh ways to reach candidates who may not have considered working in education before. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of room for ideas and initiative.

• Coaching and supporting consultants through regular one-to-ones, feedback and day-to-day guidance.
• Building strong relationships with schools and helping them fill daily, short-term, long-term and permanent roles.
• Finding new ways to engage candidates and support them into opportunities in the education sector.
• Developing new school partnerships and leading the team to achieve its sales targets.
• Keeping the branch running smoothly, including staff rotas, on-call cover and payroll queries.
• Helping resolve more complex queries and finding ways to make our service even better.

You’ll be someone who brings energy and direction to a busy team. You’re confident making decisions, comfortable with targets and good at keeping several plates spinning. You care about the detail, but you also see the bigger picture: helping schools, opening doors for candidates and growing the branch.

Most of all, we’re looking for someone who can build trust, develop people and turn good ideas into action.

• Competitive basic annual bonus, depending on experience
• 5% annual bonus
• One day working from home each week
• 25 days’ annual leave, pro rata
• Hours of 7am–5pm during term time and 8.30am–3pm during school holidays
