Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Sutton, working within their specialist Resource Base.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating tailored learning experiences, supporting individual development and helping pupils with additional needs reach their full potential.

 

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons within the Resource Base.

• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.

• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs and abilities.

• Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.

• Monitor pupil progress and work towards individual learning targets.

• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and external professionals.

• Encourage communication, independence, confidence and positive behaviour.

 

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a qualified teacher with QTS and a passion for working with children with SEND. Experience within a Resource Base, specialist provision or mainstream SEND setting would be advantageous. You’ll be patient, adaptable and committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
