Build Recruitment is working with a leading built environment consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join its Cambridge Building Services team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded electrical engineering professional to take on a senior leadership role, delivering complex building services projects while developing client relationships and supporting the growth of the team.

The Role:

• Lead electrical building services design across commercial, education, healthcare, residential and public sector projects.

• Provide technical leadership and oversee design quality and project delivery.

• Build and develop strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants.

• Mentor and develop engineers, graduates and future talent.

• Support fee proposals, project planning and commercial performance.

About You:

• Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.

• Significant experience in electrical building services design.

• Strong technical knowledge of relevant British Standards and Building Regulations.

• Proven experience in client management, team leadership and mentoring.

• Commercially aware with experience in a consultancy environment.
