Job Description:

Contract: 6 months
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of Facilities Management services at a busy shopping centre in Bromley.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Supervisor with either an Electrical or Mechanical background to join an established FM operation, supporting the Technical Services Manager with the day-to-day running of the engineering team.
You'll be overseeing a team of approximately 10 engineers on site, helping to coordinate maintenance activities, keep things running smoothly and ensure work is delivered safely and to a high standard.
The Role
Working closely with the Technical Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and coordinating a team of approximately 10 mechanical and electrical engineers.
Supporting the day-to-day delivery of hard FM services across the shopping centre.
Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
Allocating workloads, monitoring progress and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
Carrying out site inspections and ensuring maintenance standards are maintained.
Ensuring all works are completed in line with Health & Safety requirements and relevant compliance standards.
Supporting with RAMS, permits to work and safe systems of work.
Liaising with contractors, engineers and site management to ensure smooth service delivery.
Escalating technical issues, operational risks and any maintenance concerns to the Technical Services Manager.
Helping maintain a safe, clean and fully operational environment for the centre, its retailers and visitors.
About You
We're looking to speak with candidates who have:
Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Engineering Supervisor or similar supervisory position within Facilities Management.
A Mechanical or Electrical engineering background.
Experience supervising engineers within a commercial building or large, multi-occupancy environment.
A good understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
A strong understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and permit-to-work procedures.
The ability to coordinate workloads, manage engineers and take ownership of day-to-day site activities.
A proactive, hands-on approach with good communication skills.
Experience within retail, shopping centres, commercial buildings or other large FM environments would be particularly beneficial.
