Electrician – Social Housing Reactive Repairs
Location: Bournemouth & surrounding areas
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000

Build Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electrician to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

You’ll attend occupied homes, diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently, providing a friendly, professional service to residents.

This role will be starting on a temp-perm basis

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs and maintenance.

  • Repair and replace electrical fittings, accessories and components.

  • Complete testing and inspection associated with repair work.

  • Accurately record completed work and report any further repairs required.

  • Work safely and keep residents informed throughout each visit.

What we’re looking for:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.

  • 18th Edition qualification.

  • Previous experience in domestic electrical maintenance, ideally within social housing.

  • Inspection and testing qualification, such as 2391, desirable.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
