Administration & Resourcing Assistant

Cheadle, South Manchester

Permanent Position: £17,500 plus opportunity to earn bonus

 

Alderpoint Partners are an executive recruitment company that specialises in recruitment for the property and construction sector. The company a small but growing business with lots of potential as we find ourselves working with some of the most prominent companies in the industry.

This is a great opportunity as you will be able to work as part of a small, but agile team gaining exposure to the full recruitment process. The company operate a mature and flexible way of working and you will also get the chance to learn from some experienced industry professionals.

Initially this will be an admin-focused position but you will have the chance to grow and take on more responsibility including your own roles as you gain an understanding of the business and the industry.

The role will involve -

  • Formatting CV’s (putting CVs into a standard format we use)
  • Uploading candidates on to our database with consultants’ notes
  • Putting together confidential profiles of specific candidates
  • Writing and uploading job adverts
  • Speaking to candidates and taking career profiles
  • Market-mapping by utilising the internet (google, facebook, LinkedIn) to identify potential clients
  • Sourcing relevant jobs from various online job boards
  • Supporting consultants on retained campaigns, searching LinkedIn for potential candidates to approach

The role will be varied and will change and develop as the business expands and grows.

The Candidate

A bright and energetic individual to work closely with consultants on a variety of tasks, ideally degree educated, or equivalent, and somebody eager to learn new skills. You will have excellent organisational skills and be comfortable operating as an ambassador of a growing business.

A confident and organised person who has a desire to assist the current consultants and expand their own role. Somebody who is able to think creatively so that relevant leads and market information is used to get the most out of it financially.

Essential Competencies

  • We would like this person to be organised and have good communication skills.
  • You will be comfortable working with multiple projects with priorities that change daily.
  • You must have a practical nature and an ability to think logically in many different business situations.
  • Good written work is important.
