Forklift/Warehouse Operative

Our client is a busy family run business who manufacture excellent quality food items that are sold throughout the UK & Europe.

A position for a Forklift Truck Driver/Warehouse/Stores person is now available & we would like to hear from you if you have the following skills & qualities.

The Person:

You will have current experience of working within a warehouse & stores environment & will possess the following skills/experience:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Handling goods in & goods out
• Feed production areas with raw materials
• Handle dispatch notes & ensure goods are marked off correctly against delivery receipts
• Ensure the Stores department is kept full of ingredients & carried out or were part of a team that did regular stock takes
• Whilst not essential, preference will be given to candidates who have a full UK driving licence

Our client requires someone who is able to work to tight deadlines, able to work at a fast but accurate pace & someone who is competent working in both the Stores department & in the despatch Warehouse, as this role will fall into the two areas.

The role will suit someone who has the relevant skills and wants to progress as there are future opportunities for the right person.

The Salary:

The salary on commencement is £8.88/hr. This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate.
