Responsibilities

You are the face of our client’s operation so providing an excellent service experience for their customer base is paramount. You will be responsible for carrying out multi drop deliveries and provide an efficient and prompt service and obtain delivery signatures. There may be some lifting involved and you will also be responsible for keeping your vehicle clean and tidy and carrying out regular vehicle checks.

Requirements

• Full C1 (7.5 tonne) licence with digital tacho and full DCPC
• Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Understanding of driver hours and regulations
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the local area
• Punctual, presentable, good communication and customer service skills
• Due to the nature of the role, previous experience with multi drop delivery would be beneficial.

This opportunity may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. As a temporary to permanent opportunity, you will initially join Driver Hire Southampton and be paid on a weekly basis. Upon successful completion of your temporary period, you would then transfer to the company as a permanent employee.
